Its clear at the moment but more on the way tomorrow! Bosses are up and the showers (in the mens) are hot. Somebody else put a tent up mine looked awfully lonely at 3pm (a lesson learnt from Lillishall last weekend).

went down the club tonite to get some practice (not been able to shoot this week). it was POURING down from start to finish - one of those "I must be mad to do this" moments!! still, the gortex wet weather gear I bought is a) waterproof and b) much more importantly I can actually shoot in it!!!! so, kind of ready for tomorrow, whatever the weather brings. I do like the sound of McD's being very local. I can see some fast food coming my way ....... See you guys tomorrow. Simon (currently drying everything that got wet tonite)

Grant Womack has just taken me out in the 1/16th round. Err by 15 points. The wind is getting up even higher than earlier and will play a role in the rounds to follow.

Not the easiest day to shoot in. I was reasonably pleased with my ranking round of 614 - far off a good score for me, but still okay given the conditions. The head-to-heads saw a lot of big names tumble. I went out in the quarter finals and it was moo-mop, Michael Peart, Andy Callaway and (can't remember his name, the one who beat me) in the semi's. Michael and Andy shooting for the gold, the others for bronze. Compound gents was Mark Franklin, Liam Grimwood, Andy Rikunenko and the guy with the new Bowtech that looked very nice! (sorry, can't remember his name). I think it was Liam and Andy going for the bronze. Conditions were quite difficult. A lot of people were shooting lines of arrows straight across the target from 6 to 6. The wind was difficult to predict, but I didn't have much trouble aiming, just choosing where I wanted to aim that might make the arrow hit the middle. I know a lot of others were in the same boat though. A great day overall - can't wait for tomorrow, even though the weather looks awful! ![]()
