Surrey Spring Longbow Western - results

Royal Richmond AC did extremely well at the Surrey Spring Longbow Western on 5 May at Wisley!

1st: Steve Holder, 385 with 83 hits and 8 golds
4th: Dave Archer, 324 with 80 hits and 2 golds
5th: Derik Pheby, 349, with 79 hits and 3 golds
17th: Mark Mulberry, 238, with 56 hits and 2 golds

Both Steve and Dave are in the Veterans category, which is anyone over the age of 65, so even more well done!!!

Some success myself for Petersfield - 1st Gent visitor - 501 with 91 hits and 14 golds! Mind you, I hope I can shoot as well as these two when I'm a veteran

Do longbowmen see recurvers as dark siders? What do they see compounders as? Pure evil?

I wasn't there. I was shooting my recurve at the club and coming just short of first class.
