It was great to meet Dee, Mr M and Little Miss M at Laleham today, and a pleasure to shoot at such a well run and well organised shoot. I do like the idea of the "tear off" slips for updating the scorers with each dozen!

I came away with silver for the team scores, and Ffish Junior won the Metric 4, and won himself a trophy which is nearly 2 feet tall! Well done to all that made it!
Yes, they must be the biggest trophies at any tournament! Took one there and came back with another one! Well done the Ffish family, every time I looked around there was one of them collecting something!

Wahey! A great weekend for Ffish Jnr then, and not so shabby for his dad!

I was meant to be there too... but I wasn't

Well done to you and Ffish Jnr I hope I didn’t put you off to much
My domestic goddess was not best pleased with 2 trophies as my son Ben also won the metric1,
As we left home in the morning she uttered those fateful words Shoot well but don’t bring any trophies home

Ahh, hi Dave!! I had no idea you were an AIUK'er! We went through the entire day yesterday, and AIUK never even came up in conversation!

You shot particularly well yesterday, well done! For me it was an exercise in watching how it's meant to be done! That, and knowing that I now need to adjust my sight track up a hole, and get some new sight marks before next weekend.

If you'd taken those trophies home with some flowers in for the wife, I'm sure she'd have forgiven you.....

Like to add my congrats to Ffish Jnr and Little Miss M and to add that we too had trophies and medals to take home, eldest coming away the Metric 3 with a decent score of 1066 (spooky!!!) and first full metric of the year followed by little 'un with his longbow down with Jnr Ffish with a PB to boot, in the Metric 4.
Well done to all, and thanks for ordering the weather, conditions were great.
See you next year.

Aww!! I'm sorry! I was disappointed too, it was my one FITA of the year, and I've never shot one! I'm not usually a no show, but stitches and dependents prevailed this time I'm afraid!
