Green Park Weekend - open registration!

Royal Richmond and London Archers are opening up Green Park Weekend to the general archery population in order to keep this unique event going. Because of changes with bookings, we need another 25 archers to sign up by the end of May in order to make the fun and unique weekend happen. Yes, it's rather last minute, but you won't be sorry if you sign up!

Weekend Programme:
Saturday
* Once round an 18-Target 3D field course in closed woods
* Twice round a 9-hole golf course with up to 220-yard holes with dog legs and bunkers
* Medieval Banquet with as much entertainment as participants can provide

Sunday
* Novelty targets (Garland, Wand, Rapid, Revolving, etc.)
* The Bill Kinsman Clout (3 dozen @ 180yd, 140yds or 100yds to suit your equipment)


Fee: £115 (Friday dinner to Sunday afternoon tea)

Accommodation: Small single bedrooms. Married couples will be given adjoining rooms where possible. Special requests will be attempted to be accommodated.
Booking: A deposit of £50 residential/£25 non-residential will secure a booking with the full payment being made by 1 July. You can pay monthly with a series of post-dated cheques or by monthly Direct Debit.

I need to point out that compounds are not allowed at Green Park. I'm also not sure what the youngest age we accept is. Best to email Ian Millar to check for sure.

High poundage recurves are fine, I believe. It's the landlords who do not want compounds on the premises.

18 more vacancies for anyone who is interested. If these are not filled, the event will be cancelled, which is a shame because it's really one-of-a-kind and so much fun!

Seriously. if anyone is passing near Lincoln from the north to the event, I have a full set of mail, surcoats and swords etc. You can borrow them if you want to be really authentic.
