Simon, the abbreviations on the target list? I can work out most of them:

GRC - Gents Recurve County
GRV - Gents Recurve Visitor
Ladies etc
Junior Boy/Girl etc
Barebow
Longbow
Compound

etc etc

I've tried, (and failed!) but I cannot get my head around "GCul" (with a V or C for visitor or county)

Give us a clue?

The wifes pulled out after her hand/tendon strain has become too painful to shoot needs six weeks rest...she'll call this summer a write off I suspect poor sod

Well, I found most of you! I think I missed Simon though!

I do apologise for my quietness, I was a bit overawed by the very SERIOUS atmosphere and the 97 judges! I remember now that very serious comps really frighten me! Especially when I hear that some lady is threatening to report me for having the wrong colour trousers! How mean! She didn't though.

But anyway, the guys on my target were laid back, the weather was kind, Ffish had brought his salad.... and my goal was to get an 800 Rose.... and I DID!!!!

You shot brilliantly Rach, even if the atmosphere was a little "sterile". I could tell you were in the zone!

We need more GOA-ers to attend next year, to lighten things up a little bit!
