I dont have full details but I know for a fact that we are heavily looking into running an 70mt tournament.

Now if this is a sucess then this will become RECORD STATUS for the following year. If I can convince, and it gets fully booked, I may be able to convince our commitee that this should become a 2 day event.

Once I have more details you will find the information posted on AI.

Again keep a lookout and if it takes off it will become RECORD STATUS.

If your interested please let me know and I can get you entry forms as soon as avaliable and maybe even reserve places in advance.

West Essex has a cracking range, better facilities than most, a great bunch of people and some fine archers. I'd go as far as to say that you can't have a bad day at W.E.

..And I need an excuse to come back anyway...I have to bring some silverware back!

Ill keep you in mind. We have a commitee meeting next week. I will ask the organisers and see if they are taking orders yet.

As soon as everything has been finalised I will upload the entry form in every place I can!

We have had approval for ths shoot to go head.

If it goes down well I think I have convinced our committee that it would be a good idea that if we go to Record Status we will run 4 720 Rounds over 2 days. Please support this shoot

Its also for Charity. The profits from the shoot will go to the Essex Air Ambulance!

Support this shoot and we will have another set of 720 rounds on the circuit. It will also be held in April so there will be another opotunity for Qualifying and ranking scores.

I might be interested in this too, if the dates work. April is a dodgy month though - If you're not careful it'll clash with Richmond's Pagoda shoot (13th April), Clophill FITA 70 (12th/13th April), and GOA host an invitational shoot at the end of April too, which I'm committed to.

Would love to do it if the dates work, and if I can swing it that I can do "two" shoots in one month without the sprogg - I might get hassle for that at home!

Nope not yet. If it takes off and it becomes record status then maybe but I think I like the idea of running it like the Clophill Fita 4. Giving people a last ditch attempt to get qualy scores for that year.

I have suggested we organise some more H frames for compounders to use. If I have my way we will eventually take it to all H frames so we can accomidate Compounds. I know my club likes to think they are a modern club but I get the feeling that key members dont realise how the best of the nest shoots are run. Im not haveing a go just pointing out that we like to have a good rep for running good shoots. If we want that reputation to grow we need to make a few changes. Still I think they are receptive to my ideas and comments which, in my eye's, will only improve us as a club.
