Hi Sky,
yes...it's a proper shoot..for real bows...not bionic/automatic bows..

No seriously...it's because they dont have the required space for an overshoot.....it's quite a 'short' covered reservoir with allotments within fairly easy reach for any arrow aimed too high.
Are you not shooting recurve still?- Last I heard they still had spaces .

Sorry to hear you won't be there Schme, I've never minded being slaughterred by a Decent archer!
Still, W.Essex are fielding a strong team- with a couple of other names on the target list worthy of note too.....I'll have to work hard for the gold...or plain get lucky...108 times in succession!

Good luck. Theres no point in going if I dont have an outdoor setup. Didnt do the conties last weekend either due to alcohol abuse. I heard Mat Webb Won. Do you know if the full results are avaliable?

Recurve is on loan to a friend at the minute - i'm totally dark side now.

Hmm...I don't have my RoS handy but you need 150yrds for anything with a mechanical release, or 50yrds further than the longest distance. Albion is 80yrds, 50yrd on that is 140yrds...Hmm...

wha...? and no Ffish!!! hardly worth shooting properly then is it...which is going to be tough anyway- I've ocome down with 'mammoth flu'...the flu that would kill a whole species of elephants, and that one man alone should never have to suffer!
Ah well - I'll use it as a tuning session or just swap between arrow sets to see what happens

Hey Ffish
let me have your email by PM - and I'll copy you the target list.
