been a bit quiet in here...

apart from the SoCo stuff, the southren counties has been a bit quiet recently so here's a list of the comps that mrs robbo, numpty and myself are gonna be attending soon:

2nd september: long national at stortford archery club

3rd september: county western (shoot only against people with the same classification as you)

10th september: new national at kestrels archery club.

8th october: portsmouth with the kestrels in sandy.

12th november: green dragon 500 at Odyssey health club.

10th december: fita 18 with clophill archery club.

give a big 'hey ho' if you're gonna be joining us at any of these events, it would be great to see some of you again.

p.s i haven't told numpty that the new national is 100yds yet...ssshhh...

Well you can count me in on as many as my family commitments will let me go to.

By the way you and Mrs Robbo are gonna take a LOT of beating on current form, but that wont stop me trying...

There's also a Double American at Aquarius Archers (Mill Hill/Finchley, London) on October 1, which a number of GOA members and a few others from here are attending, which classifies as SoCo too.

There's a Double American and Junior Round in Brentwood on 28th August, whch I might go to (unless it dawns on me suddenly that I'm not really very good). I've got a link if anyone wants it.

I am going to ask a real dunce of a question, what is the Green Dragon 500 and what round is it ? From the website it seems to be shot with 60 arrows but there is no other info.

We are shooting against them (probably) on Sunday in a league match.

it's actually just a portsmouth round hence the 60 arrows. It's called the 500 because that's how many people we used to get entering it.

regarding the league match v green dragon BBB, i emailed a map & directions to the chiltern shop email address as i couldn't find any club addresses, could you do me a favour and find out if they got it and understand it. cheers...
