Plenty clubs in the area - Oxford Archers in north hinksey is closest to the city, but theres also clubs at Bampton and Banbury. Oxford archers website here - you'll need to do a beginners course when you join.

Seems prety exspensive.Considering all your doing is firing arrows. Is it worth it?

Yes. You need their ranges to shoot safely on, and by joining a club you also join the GNAS which insures you. And they'll teach you how to shoot well, without posing a risk to yourself or others.

Trust me, its worth it. Plus as a club member you get to enter tournaments and win stuff

Oh, and you don't fire arrows. Setting your arrows on fire isn't advisable

Pretty but expensive, flaming arrows.

Clout is shooting at a large target marked out on the ground, anything up to 180 metres away.

Field shooting is when you follow a course, shooting at several targets from several different positions and from varying ranges.
