I will be wandering along tomorrow, not been to a KAA meeting before but think I should make the effort.
Dave.

Dave
Should see you there then.
Don't think it's going to be the most riveting Sunday afternoon you have spent. Stanstead village hall looks like it was built in the 30's and I am sure it still has its original paint The car parks tiny, so if you want a place to park arrive early.

I will have to take my chances with the car parking, If the weather permits I'm hoping to shoot a frostbite before the hour drive up there.
Thanks for the map link,

Dave.

Not the most thrilling of afternoons.
With respect to Dover 2007:
It would appear archery is now secondary to the "event" as the "event" now has a management board and a sub contracted event management company, who are responsible for sponsorship, tourism, advertising, obtain grants from sport England, KCC etc and all things non archery related. Apparently this side of the "event" is progressing well and we had a nice little presentation on how this event will be good for archery, Kent, 2012 etc, all the revenue which will come in with all the visitors etc etc etc.
When we got to what does GNAS want of Kent's archers, it wants lots of volunteers but it does not know yet what needs doing so just leave your name and e mail on this sheet and they will get back to us later.

Kent's AGM was it usually self, 800 plus Archers affiliated in Kent about 30 turned up. Officers reports read and agreed.Same committee members elected again, because no one else wants to stand, County captain resigned due to poor health, new records officer nominated from the floor. No one wants to be child protection officer................
