I'd have loved to do this one, but I can't 'cos I've got a beginners course to look after that day, and I'll be knackered after 3 days of filming graduations

Next year..

So thats why the Burleigh longbow team is not shooting

Guildford FITA25

sorry for delay in replying, Jock, like I said, I'm not that active a forum member. But it will be good to make your acquaintance on Sunday next. And all other AIUK members - do you see each other often? you seem to know each other well - just online or do you all shoot the same competitions?

Not sure how I'm gonna shoot - I had a day's intensive coaching yesterday, so technique will be all out the window! Funnily enough, it's my legs that are aching, not the arms - just what am I doing wrong....

I think its the AIUK spirit! We all have something in common and we all seem to be really quite nice people. And if you go to enough tournaments you do get to see the same faces I actually look forward to see what tournaments people are talking about attending, as its always better to turn up knowing someone whos there than no one at all. So you'll be with friends when you turn up on Sunday and I will point out as many other AIUKers as I can but beware Im good with faces but notoriously bad with names! Doh!

I take my daughter all round the country, and we have got to know loads of people - you quickly build up a regular set of faces, especially on the Junior circuit, where the mums and dads end up standing around and chatting!
