| Sorry should have more clear. re: record I filled in form and sent directly to Graham?, someone very nice in Essex anyway, who organised the SCAS outdoor intercounty. It had a stamped envelope for Ruth. This saved him posting back to me and then to someone else. I know he did put the forms in the envelopes and posted them as I did the same for Hants and the claim reached Hants. But somewhere between him and Ruth it disappeared and I forgot to chase it - it's not a big deal, there have been better Yorks shot by members of SCAS anyway. I do think they should remove the non-rounds (double FITA 70m etc, I know what they mean but it doesn't exist) and target day records though. Basically I don't think SCAS is being local enough to be able to find out local information and help and not national enough to be publishing national information and help. I do my own club's website and getting information for that seems to always require knowing what's going on and asking, doing it on a bigger scale must get very hard... and again thank you to the volunteers that do their best, I know I don't have time whilst I'm an actively competitive archer.

| ooo... a further look at the records means I could claim a FITA 25 from one of my 4 indoors shoots, again I'm sure people have done better (it was only 579)... Edit: in fact it looks like I could even claim the Gents FITA, and one of the distances, I know of a significantly better FITA 70m... Ummmm those records are more out of date than I realised, a little trail around a few shoots could do well for the new webmaster working with a records officer - Michael Peart is in SCAS after all. I remember why I gave up on the idea of chasing it now, I'll stick with my club records! At least I'm sure of them.

| I e mailed a request for the SCAS field records, last year, as I believe that I may have broken them. I never even received a reply. I think that the SCAS website needs updating and should include field as well as target archery Daniel |

| SCAS indoor target list Target list can be seen on Essex County website. http://www.ecaa.org.uk/ Shame SCAS are unable to put it on theirs.

| I will be there, although because the shoot is so late in the season I've had to decline to take part in the Hants vs. Sussex match this year. I've assumed that a regional shoot comes before a county shoot.
