Glad to hear the club's still going !

I started my archery life there in about 1983ish. Percy Law was still the top man then, but I doubt he's even still alive, let alone shooting !

Do you still shoot at the playing fields ?

I lived in Plumpton for some 25 years before moving to Scotland so I know the area very well !!

Would be interested to know what's going on at the club ... do you ever host tournaments or anything ?

I shoot at Newhaven in east Sussex not far from Lewes, have you ever shot there, we have a big shoot in may the western., have you shot in that?

No I haven't. I left Sussex (full time) about 11 years ago, and I'd given up shooting by then.

I do remember the Lewes Bonfire very fondly though and am considering a trip back to conicide with that, so I'm looking for places to shoot while I'm down there - even just on a club night !

well why don't you come over and shoot as a guest on a club night just bring your GNAS card with you.

We are having a open day soon in May why don't you come along.

We shoot all types of bows there, I shoot recurve and just started Longbow.

Thanks, but if I make down your way at all it'll not be before November. Can't afford a trip now, and then again for Bonfire Night !!! Spose they do still have Bonfire Night, or has it all been stopped for "public safety" reasons by now ?

I'll def give you a shout though if I make it down to Sussex.

Ok, Yes! They do still have it and went for the first time last year but didn't like it very much; it was to crowded and very nosey!
