| I wonder if it would be possible to get the arrows hot then clamp them straight while they cool? don't know if this would work but if it does it would be possible to do them quickly in batches |

| A board and three pegs driven in will work as well as the pipe bender idea. Use a wedge to get the bend you need. |

| I have the ACE Rollerstraight from 3 Rivers but to be honest it's quicker just rubbing the high side with an old spoon. If it is really stubborn I will steam it for a short while then use the spoon or straighten by hand.

| All you need to do is hold the bent shaft at one end and the other on a solid surface, the the proud are facing up rub a steel bar along the area that need putting right, works in seconds. Steve

| Yup! do this, or the spoon, or a piece of broken arrow, or an old pen or pencil. Don't buy expensive version of good cheap stuff. Now if you want to go to work on some aluminum arrows, then you need to buy a digital depth plunger guage, and an Arrow Inspector, then build yourself straightener that doubles as a spine deflection measurer. But for wood, nah, don't do it. |
