There are 2 Longbow events at Tatton Park in Cheshire on the next 2 saturdays. Any info or anyone going?

I'm going to the event on the 16/17th, since we have a stall there. The other half mentioned something about an archery competition, but (a) I don't think I'm good enough, and (b) I'm hoping to not have the time to play

There's not much information on the Tatton site (Tatton Park : Events, What's On), but from my short experience of the guy running it, he's trying very hard to make it a good event for everyone. Hope to see some of you there (mainly so I can pick up some tips .... )

My events calendar has it down as Friday 8 june from 4-6pm at the same phone no. as above.

Some of my Club are going as Tourists, stopping some of the juniors joining in the battle could be a problem! I spoke to the organisers at another event and it seems like it is going to be a good weekend, plenty to do and see . Basically it is a Medieval fair, plus Battle, displays and all the rest that Tatton offers. Reenactors present should be ; The dogs of war, God's company of Tabor, The Clan of the Dragon, and the Poor Knights of St. Dysmas. Be surprised if there aren't any Bowyers there. This is the event on the 16th-17th June.
