please do not go down the line of them and us or this thread may need to be closed. We know people have strong opinions about bow types and don't have the common sense to control their comments.

Please do not stoop to that level on this forum, if you cannot contribute appropriately to a thread - keep it to yourself!

The story so far;

After posting a thread asking for details on companies that sell Warbows, one of the links was for DIY Archery (DIY Archery Longbow kits - manufactures of quality handmade Longbow arrows, arrowheads, staves, shafts and accessories). I sent an e-mail to Steve at 10.20pm on Monday, ten minutes later I had a full reply, answering all my questions in full, and giving me contact details if I wanted to discuss anything. Over the last couple of day's I've sent Steve several e-mails asking him more questions and I've received reply's almost instantaneously!
Steve has answered each of my e-mails in full, giving me all the information I asked for (and more!) and has made me feel comfortable handing over my money!

I can't recommend this guy enough. Just can't wait to get my bow! (2-3 weeks if he hasn't got one in stock, now that's quick!).

So, In a very long parcel, I will receive:

1 x 100# @ 32" Laminated Warbow
12 x 1/2" Birch Shafts
12 x Horn Slivers (for nocks)
12 x 1/2" Drop Forged Bodkins
36 x Full length feathers
1 x Complete arrow as a pattern

I haven't been this excited since getting my first recurve when I first started!

Photographs to follow!

Kae.

It was a question, which I answered
but the question was worded in a negative/dismissive/disapproving way so anyone would have expected the response you got

Please end the b**ching here guys...

If kae wants to shoot a warbow (as many do), good on him - it's part of our history and heritage. Although it IS a pretty puny warbow (just kidding!)
