Warbow - New Toy :D - LARGE PIC'S!

Well, it's finally arrived!

EDIT: Video's - VIDEO1 VIDEO2

These are shot into the ground in my back garden, its only short!

Enough words, here come the photographs!

98# @ 32"

Triple Laminate; Hickory, Greenheart & lemonwood (AFAIR)

Horn Nocks (Top nock with posh string keeper, lol).

32" Military Arrow, horn nock inserts, drop forged bodkins.

Comparison with a normal 5/16th POC shaft.

This was bought from Steve at DIY Archery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anybody! Friendly, fast service with good prices for very very high quality work.

DIY Archery Longbow kits - manufactures of quality handmade Longbow arrows, arrowheads, staves, shafts and accessories

And before anyone asks, yes I can shoot it, and yes, it feels bloody fantastic!

Kae.

They tend to have a low bracing height on warbows, I think to get more power out of the bow to get arrows to go further
I tend to have mine closer to 6" as I use mine a lot for target archery and I believe this should make it more accurate (no evidence of this though ;-)
