Internature bow nocking point

New to traditional bow shooting I've just acquired a Classic Hunter KTB bow from Quicks. I've been reading the forum about where to put the nocking point and am going to ask a stupid question. If I tie a single nocking point on, does the arrow go above or below it? I've always used two brass rings on my target recurve.

The arrow should go below the nock point. I believe that during draw, the arrow is pushed upwards on the string!!!

Not wanting to disagree with the adivce, which is fine, but I nock over on pretty much all my bows. Unless you use three fingers under (which doesn't seem that common here) I can't see upward pressure on the arrow would be a problem as the index finger would take the role of the nocking point.

As far as I am aware, the nocking point is needed only to hold the nock in the right place on the string before the draw takes place. Without it, the nock can slide up the string as the pile drops due to gravity. Once the draw starts, the V formed by the string holds the nock in place. I have a single nocking point on both my recurve and my longbow and the arrow goes below it.
