any hints on shooting a target out side as in a pole at 100m
at the summer we shoot out side and i have not used a long bow when there is a stake in the ground at 100m and closes arrows win. i come from a recove back ground so i can get a lot of golds in doors,
the only thing i now is the arrow will fly left a little and i have to raze and lower the bow for range,

any tips would be grate
thanks

Maybe you mean these, as used in Bhutanese archery? Archery is the national sport in Bhutan, and these "poles" are shot at from a distance of around 100yds.

Interestingly, women are not allowed to compete, or even touch the bows of the competitors!

I would guess he means a Wand shoot.

Tip:- Try & hit the wand!

It's impossible to give advice on this mate. Shooting at a wand is exactly the same as shooting at anything else.
