Warbow video

Just thought you might be interested in seeing the latest video clip from Glennan Carnie and Nick Ashley

I think its so good that it deserves a mention on other archery forums (not just the warbow forum)

grate vido.
in my club in pembrokeshire, we are getting a few more long bow archers,
last begging coures wich i was very lucky and honnerd to be asked to help
as im still in my first year of training ( i started on recove with site ) was scaried of missing boss over and over.
but when i ordered my fist long bow 40lbs i took off the site and found wonce you now were to look its not to hard lol as in hit the boss mine is 60cm.
well any way we got 2 strate to long bow. so we have about 6 long bow men and if you add the flat bow we have a good groop.
i think that it helps we have 1 man thats like me and is more of a tradisnoal long bower and 1 that moderfiys his a little,
there is going to be very soon a long bow coures run so we can nick more members from the club to the dark side lol.

A very interesting video. It looks like a seriously heavy bow he's drawing!

There seems to be a bit of resurgence in interest in the longbow (when buying my son's at Perris, the lady there commented that several youngsters had bought longbows recently) and I can understand the appeal of doing away with the technological aids.

Just one question: if taking up compound is "turning to the dark side", what is the term for taking up longbow?
