Short Movie online

I have just put a short promo movie online and thought you might be interested

Full Size Video

Low Quality Video

Both are on the Purbrook Bowmen website

The large file is good quality but about 9 Mb the smaller is hard to watch because of the quality but is only 740k

They were made with a digital camera and windows movie maker so don't expect too much. They're in WMV format.

Let me know what you think

Daniel

What a brilliant display of archery. Just out of interest when and where do you do your displays? Would love to see it for real - Who said archery is boring to watch.
Keep up the good work

If people want to see us live I post the latest bookings at www.purbrookbowmen.org.uk
Unfortunately things are a bit quiet this year, we should have another date in August to put up, Spetchly Park near Worcester, but it's still to be confirmed. We try to encourage an interest in history and in archery. We are all archers, not re-enactors and we tend to have a list of clubs which we give out to interested people. We have noticed that our beginners courses have all been fully booked since we started the display team.

(And yes John, I'll pass on your message to Steve, he's doing well in his new job and his happy that he made the move.)

Daniel

Thanks Daniel, and if you're near Worcester, I'll try to get along and say hello. If you needed a back-up archer for the day - or even just someone dressed in some spare kit to help things along - I'd be happy to pitch in (although I don't have a traditional bow at this point in time). As far as I know, the only weekend I'm busy in August is the Bank Holiday.

Daniel, Should be at Spetchley with Longbow, though 200 years down the timeline, so will doubtless see you there. Could arrange some Musketeers for comparative shooting rates if you want.As they say round here ,"For God and the Cause",..... Salute Mike
