hornbeam flatbow?

Hi all! Has anyone out there shot (or preferably made) a bow from hornbeam? Have managed to get hold of a lump for my first bow making effort and was wondering if anyone had any idea what kind of beast I'll end up with, all being well. Am intending it to be an afb, draw of about 35/40#@28 (dont want to go for the big draw weights just yet!). Thanx in advance
