Thanks sorry for getting back so late. The first response after my first is the best, bend the leg and not pivot from the waist. If you can try to start pushing foward of the back leg just before you lose and the arrow will go at least 10% further. It's called a rolling loose, but be warned it takes a lot of practice and I mean a
lot but once mastered is very, very effecitve. The other way is to increase your draw length on your current bow, if
Gnas rules allow. The most effective way, as I wrote on another thread, is to 'shoot in the bow', instead of pulling to an anchor point on you face, you pull around your body and find the natural anchor. This allows you to draw further without strain, hence keeping stability and increasing the energy imparted to the arrow and hence increase the distance. Hard to explain easy to learn, lifetime to master! I know I run the risk of a serious amount of flack for saying it but there are other trechniques out there, the ones I propose and practice are the ones our forebears used way back then, they are effective but are very hard to master (I'm still learning after 7 years). For someome interested in just target archery I'd say stick to the techiques you've learnt they work, but if you want to try other things, such as clout as well as target try 'shooting in the bow' it works for both as well as many other things.
