| Advice needed!!! I have the longbow and I have the horn nocks..... I just need advice on how to put the 2 together so they have a hope of staying on!!! Thanks in advance!!

| Grind a zip bit (flat bit) to the v point maintaining the cutting angle, and use this to drill tapered holes in the nocks. A smelly business.Taper the ends of the bow to match the v of the drill. Taper a piece of wastewood and hot glue the nocks to it in turn. Work on the nocks, shape, file, abrade and polish. Epoxy resin with regular araldite the finished nocks to the bow. Wait and shoot. | How did it turn out? What glue works on horn? I have a couple of splits that I would like fill with a glue that is well known to adhere to horn. | |||||||||||||

| A good quality Super glue and an activator keeps the nocks on my 100lb+ longbows....No problems and it's quick.

| I didn't manage to get the horn nocks in my recent split with womble, the longbow will have to wait Thanks for the advice though
