skin-eze limb tape

Hey Rob - got my rattlesnake skins on. Show me yours now that I've shown you mine. (PS no snakes were harmed in the process!)

Absolutely stunning mate! I'll post pics of the canebrakes as soon as the bow arrives that they're going on. 3 bloody weeks now and still no sign!

Looking very nice indeed Rob thanks for the pics. I'm going to resist the matching arrow wraps although I would like one arrow totally skinned up a la Conan the Barbarian.

Rob, Mac,

How easy is this stuff to get off again?

I have a stick that oculd use a bit of dressing up, but I don't want to end up with permanent snakeskin decals on my bow.

Jakes

Jakes, supposedly it is fairly easy to remove but go to http://www.skin-eez.com and ask them. The guy there is called Adam and he was always very quick in responding to my emails. I have a snowboard/skateboarding shop and find a hairdryer to soften the sticker and keep it flexible while it is pulled off, followed by lighter fluid to remove any glue, will remove even the stickiest decals from a board.
The skin tape designs are all scanned from actual snakeskins - I always fancied a snakeskin backing but didn't want a real one - I lived in Cameroon/Ghana as a kid and used to collect them for an American reptile researcher. I was fascinated by snakes and developed a genuine respect for them.

PM me your address & I'll post you my off cuts for the arrow. I've got 2 nice offcuts, about 9" long each, maybe you could pioneer a new 'patchwork arrow'
