I've enquired whether it would take a 5/8ths or M8 pressure button and asked which length of Beiter button would be suitable.

I've asked what the bracing height range is, and whether it should be adjusted by tying knots in the string like he has.

Smile

I’m very tempted by this wonderful bow, I’d like to be the envy of all my friends.
I don’t know whether to go for the Buy it Now and pay the full amount, or put in a lower bid. What do you think, should I risk it?
I see the seller is in Pinner, I could probably save on the delivery, if I ask Paul (Provins) very nicely, he is just up the road in Harrow.

This was the response to my question "you are joking"

nope i have researched bow crafting and had a many attempts on crafting and after many scars from cutting myself managed to craft this. this is actually my spare as i said i made a few(and made arrows using real feathers(the carving thse main way i cut myself), and am making more bows and arrows till this day, as im guessing as the seasoning wont be good as retail it wont last as long so will need spares , its very fun making them thou i assure you .
thanks for the jolly question

This is hilarious stuff. The final sentence in his response about the bracing height is: "the recomended bracing height is 19 inches from the bottom loop in the string up."

To use the vernacular, dude WTF?

"Home made Quality RH Archers bow with steel supports"

Sold to mk_gm for £12.69.

Unlucky Tarkers, just beaten to it.

Now, who is that masked man with the Home made Quality stick?

Anyone owning up to being mk_gm?

Mick

I'm gutted, I thought I was in with a chance with that...I may well have beaten my Albion PB with it. Come to think of it, I could probably beat my PB throwing the arrows at the boss.

I might contact him to see if I could commission another.
