Ooh - that be a very 'purdy' bow that is...

I'm almost tempted to make a foray into the more traditional side of things... Especially as no-one else at the club shoots longbow, so I'm guaranteed to walk away with all the club records (since I'm now club records officer as well!)

I'm going to get this wrong, so apologies, but I *believe* the bow is yew belly, lemonwood, purpleheart, and hickory back. I think.

Anywho, I'll be shooting it at a weekend long fun shoot, so hopefully my Bald Eagle purple leather bracer and purple ArrowheadUK longbow bag arrive in time!

Bravo Clicky ! I'm sure you will have very good time with this bow !
I envy you. I wish to purchase a longbow too, preferably an English traditional one.

Cecile,

If you do the longbow thing, then look at this site .... http://www.longbow-archers.com/fraternity.htm .... they shoot in France twice a year and I can thoroughly recommend their events.

No doubt they will give you lots of local introduction to longbow events.

TimS
