Typical, I am behind the pace again.

I was trying to get to last weekend's shoot but couldn't do so.

It looks as good as I would expect (great setting).

Both of you should try to attend the UK - easier for Cecile than you Clicki -(mainly Belmont House) events they organise - absolutely first class - if you get the chance.

Brgds

TimS

PS - Didn't go to France, didn't go to Sandford Hall (Stafford, UK - Pickwick Pepperpots), shot with my guys (www.cloutabout.com) and still got wet !

PPS - That bloody (French) piper gets everywhere - he was at the mid September BLBS Chamionship/Spitfire shoot at Belmont as well (very good)

Sorry Clicki - I had somehow picked up the idea that you were based in our ex-colonial outpost across the big pond !

Anyway, if you want to play with the new longbow you will find it comparatively easy to attend one of the Fraternity of St George shoots.

I was, but I've been back in the UK since May.

I've got one too! (Hope it's all right to put it here and share your thread, Click).

I look like I am auditioning for the worlds most heavily made up longbow-woman, but I was about to go and see my friend's band play... I took some close-ups of the bow itself but they were so out of focus I gave up. It's dead wimpy, 24 at 27"... but i think it's lovely!!! And check out these girly arrows!

Apart from a quick practice when I went to pick it up from the Company of Sixty, the first time I use it will be at the Bucks Open Field shoot. I can't wait, and if I actually hit anything, I'll be celebrating all night!

Rach

Whats with the exterior cladding further down! Is that so you can bring the sheep and chickens into the warm to help them lay! Coming from a heating engineer its always easier to perform in the warm!
