Longbow purchase

After going to a Agincourt last Sunday at Dunstable Archers and having a darn good time I'm Thinking of getting a Longbow for a bit of fun. I need help. I dont know whats a good make and where to go to get it?

Good call Ian! I got my longbow via the NFAS small ads on their website. Definitely worth a look if you don't want to spend megabucks.

Thumbs up trad bow

Good idea mate.

Two good sources of longbows are Richard Head and the Archery Centre (booth will come up on a Google search). They offer a range of bows from basic to wallet exploding. Have fun

Point of arrow at the top of the boss or there abouts. That said I have only tried it with a friends flight arrows which are barreled, 30 grain points and very low profile 1.75" fletching. My new bow is 51lb @ 28" it's sweeeeet!
