| What you need is a leather balsam rather than just bees wax. I use a product called Renapur on my bike leathers and gloves, just a little bit every once in a while, the trick is to build up layers, it will waterproof the leather and keep it really supple and it lasts for ages. http://www.renapur.com/ Hope that helps? ![]()

| I agree about the Renapur, it was very good on bike leathers, even on Goretex lined boots. I have been told that if the nocking point is spot on bow hand protection should not be necessary as the arrow flies above the hand... when I collected my Bickerstaffe Pip put a nocking point on for me and I have not needed a bow hand glove since. Very occasionally a slight scuff, but always a bad loose. |

| Neats foot oil is good, it feeds and waterproofs, also dubbin. I've also used Barbour wax, the stuff they put on jackets, to good effect |
