| The Quicks New Woodsman bow and the Internature bow are in fact the same thing albeit under a different name. |

| Same goes for the AIM Viper. I bought a lightweight Viper to work on some aspects of my form and for £99 there's not much to complain about. It's a decent bow with good performance although my advice would be to replace the fat flemish string with a fastflite endless loop 12 strand and shave some wood off those massive tips. It adds a bit of speed and reduces handshock although this negates any warranty. Seeing as how it's Christmas if you can up your spending power take a very close look at the Bowtec Mistral. In my opinion the best value custom bow on the market at £200. High quality British craftsmanship and you get a bow that is built for you. You would never regret it and the resale value will be higher.

| Second vote for the Mistral, here. If it weren't for my unrelenting love affair with 3 piece flatbows, I'd have one meself!

| aims viper /internature/quicks new woodsman thanks to all of you for your help on this can you tell me the stockist of the aims viper bow all the best for now |

| Quicks, Chiltern or Bowsports - just look for Internature flatbow. It is the Viper. There's also the Viper Deluxe but I'd go for the standard bow as any difference is purely cosmetic.

| I just took delivery of my Internature bow this week. Looks lovely, shame the missus won't let me shoot it till Christmas itself. How cruel is that! Sean |

| Green Man - I occasionally see it mentioned on other forums that the Viper is often marked lower than the actual draw weight. Mine is marked at 35# but shows as 38# on the club's hand held scale. However, with the 68" length it pulls to my 27" draw length with no noticeable stack. Personally, I'd go with 40#. My own bows for field archery are 42# and 47# although my 42# is a carbon limbed Border Griffin which is incrediby fast. The faster the bow the flatter the trajectory of the arrow and in theory the less critical you need to be with judging exact distance. However, it can be more comfortable and thereby more accurate to shoot a lighter bow.

| Greenman, mine is 45lb at 28 inches. Draw weight shouldn't be a problem as I have have done a little shooting with a lonbow which has been estimated (not actually measured) at 50 plus and have no problem with that. But the truth is I haven't shot the flatbow yet , and its killing me. Only 14 days to go.... |
