| Re tillering Longbow Is it possible to re tiller a longbow set for 28" with a 29" safety tiller to a longer draw?

| Yes, but as Rob says, it would reduce the poundage slightly. Bows are often tillered further than the stated drawlength on the bow. My Bickerstaff bow is tillered to 28", but I often use a draw which gives 31" to no ill effect. When I knock a bow up, I'll tiller it to 2/3" more than the required draw length. | re: retillering longbows Please bear in mind that the seller is the bower and as such it would be no trouble for him to re tiller the bow an extra inch. As has been said previously you will lose a small amount in poundage but as the stated weight is 45 - 50 lbs @ 28" you will still regain some of that weight by drawing more than 28". The advice he gives about the arrows is also good advice. All this taken into consideration, I would have thought that if you are going to be drawing 30", you might be better with a slightly longer bow. I hope this helps.
