In answer to your question I attended the lectures at the National army Museum on Saturday.

It was a very good evening. I felt the talk by Andrew Ayton was the more interesting of the two probably because I did not know much about the Battle of Crecy.

The lecture by Robert Hardy was based on photographs, many of which had appeared in his two books (Longbow and the Great warbow). As I had read the longbow book and currently reading the Great Warbow the information was covering the same ground and so not as interesting as I had hoped. But Robert Hardy is a very good talker was you would expect with acting ability.

Best wishes, Mark
