| My first bow is made of Putu Jumu Belly then 2 cores of Padauk and Purpleheart and a Hickory back. This is a really nice bow, get to 100 yards no problem but has about an inch of follow/set which doesn't affect it at all. My 2nd bow that's on order will be either (the bowyer is making a couple for me to try) are Osage, Purpleheart, Wenge accent and Bamboo back or Purpleheart Belly with a Purpleheart core another of Afromosia and a Bamboo back. I can choose whichever one I want. ![]()

| Outdoor bow is hickory back, lemonwood and satinwood cores, osage belly, beautiful. Indoor bow was second hand so not sure, but looks like hickory back, lemonwood belly. Nowhere near as fast, even considering the different draw weights, probably an unfair comparison as it is so much older. |
