| Sorry to be the class dunce, but is there a way I could tell what my bow's made of? I got it second hand, you see. (I think she did tell me at the time but I was too excited to listen..)

| My victorian style (yes the one that spends more time on the bench than in the field) is Lemonwood, Purpleheart and Maple. (originaly had Hickory back.. actually has had two Hickory backs )My Bickerstaffe bow is (f**king great... sorry I mean) Osage, Satinwood and Hickory. New one is on order, I'll let you know what it is when it arrives ![]()

| Yep, i'd agree with you there. Souds like you've got a great bow combination Jaarus, The Osage belly will make it very sweet to draw, and is the best (IMO) modern material, and performs similarly to Yew without the short life problem. Let us know how you get on! Kae. |
