| The Osage will definitely darken - my main bow is now a couple of years old and the Osage belly has gone a beautiful deep orange having started at a similar colour to yours. |

| I'm just in the process of ordering a bow from Bickerstaffe - hickory, greenheart and lemonwood. |

| That's what I've just bought Richard. They made a fantastic job of it, I'm so pleased with it.

| Got it! I'll post a pic later, but we went up to Pip's workshop today and spent a good couple of hours chatting about archery in general, as well as the bows that we have bought. I also took my old cracked osage, which Pip says that he can repair for me, so that's been left with him. As well as adding to the recommendation of Pip as a bowyer, I can also vouch for him as a great chap to spend time with. Friendly, knowledgeable about more that just how to make a good bow, and interesting to talk to. If you can take a trip to pick a bow up from him when buying it, then jump at the chance. The pub there isn't bad either. I'll let you know how the bow shoots tomorrow Daniel |

![]() It's, as expected great to shoot. A little slower than my old 70lb osage (which Pip is repairing) but it seems smoother, and I shot well with it. I shot half a FITA marked field round, once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. (That's all that is layed out at the moment) I shot 10 points below my pb for the half round in the morning, and 2 points over it in the afternoon. I'm happy with it, now all I have to do is shoot it well in the county Champs in May, and see how we go from there. Daniel |
