| To make a quick and simple arrow guard. Take one coke tin. Cut stip of metal from coke tin. Wrap around bow, and use a little electrical tape to hold in place. This is the quick and easy version. Cut to a better shape, and glue on for beautification. Kae. |

| Mine uses a thin strip of wood. I however suggest that you make it fairly large and wrap it round the belly of the bow as well as My peice has been chipped. You could alternatly just wrap a couple pieces of tape arond the area. Quick and easy and easily replaced.

| If you're looking for bone, you'd do well to look for a local Lace Bobbin Maker as many of them are made from turned bone. I'm sure if you got the right person you could get the bit you want made up no problem. If you need a list of Bobbin Makers PM me and I'll try to help...
