| Welsh FITA Star shoots? I fancy visiting my homeland to do a shoot next year, and was wondering about two things: Can anyone recommend a good FITA Star to shoot, in Wales? North or South, not bothered which. Secondly, do these shoots qualify for Welsh Feather awards? I dont know of anyone who has achieved a feather award, so I'm not certain whether they still exist?

| ahh fantastico!! Is this on the 20 Sept? I think it might be a little late to get to it for this year, but I'll definitely be there next year then! BTW, what's the Daffodil award?

| Sorry to jump in - there used to be a good site for explaining awards, but the link appears to have died! Whats the criteria for these Welsh awards then?

| Well if they're along the same lines as Roses and EAF Crosses, it'll be the following: (FITA) Crosses in England, Feathers in Wales, Thistles in Scotland (what does NI have?) 950 - white 1050 - black 1150 - blue 1250 - red 1325 - gold (York) roses in England, and clearly daffodils in Wales. Not sure what Scotland or NI have. 800 - white 900 - black 1000 - blue 1100 - red 1200 - gold My understanding is that GNAS issue the York awards, and the respective country's Federation issues the cross (in the case of England) or Feather (Wales) etc. FITA Stars are: 1000, 1100, 1200, etc and are also issued by GNAS.

| the daffod badges were 750 850 950 etc. the criteria is any welsh fita / york. think the new ones are about £3-50 - £4-00. dont know yet if they are different from the old style. |
