Corus Father Christmas Shoot tomorrow
Anybody out there going to be at Corus for the St Nicholas round tomorrow? Reeealllly hope the weather is going to be kind (although the severe weather warnings don't look too good!!

Thanks Al. Only three from Wrexham went (yrs truly, Brian and Mary) - shame!! Where was everybody?
Weather good... well it didn't rain and there was no gales, anyway. Had a really good time, fun, friendly. Good Soup. Lord Paramount was "Santa" Jim Nichols and his b*****y bell! Good one Corus. Thanks Mike L and team.

Shot Ok, 640, 37 golds, not bad for me. Good enought to win a turkey, anyway.

I got my turkey 522 with barebow..... and bangor won most of the raffle prize's and walked away with 5 turkeys being closely followed by gwynedd with 4.
Concrats go to Jim Faben outshooting many recurves with a longbow and a score of 582 got him his turkey.
Pete, Steve ill see you both for the Ironman, got my shorts and t-shirt on already. After shooting sunday in a T-shirt and thin trousers bring on the ironman. lol

I think Jim gave me a turkey coz most of my shots were turkeys! Nah, I'm aiming for mediocrity coz its such an improvement lolol.

Merry Xmas Pete and best to everyone at Corus. See you 30th - I've had the target list from Dave. You're shooting with Owen - if that doesn't put you off, nothing ever will!

Cheers Ceri, see you on 30th. Great barebow shooting on Sunday too (yeh, there were a few good longbow scores but Jim on 582 and Dave on 57? were outstanding IMHO). Any chance of any more from Bangor for the ironman? 4 days left to enter.....

Now please guys, I think Jim Faben got 562 and would have beaten me if the silly sod hadn't got a 3 in the last end. Thoroughly agree about the shoot being superb, though I always enjoy shooting with the Bangor Uni lot.
