[Mistake]

Anybody know what the overall Welsh Junior champion shot in cardiff today? and how does it compare to my 552 FITA 18 triple face i shot today for the forum shoot

Not sure about the junior recurve but I'm sure it was less than 552. The top senior score was only 550something. Tapani won the junior compound with 570 which he's only been shooting since October. (He got the bow from Chris White. Think he has them programmed to hit the middle! )

My first comp with the compound and managed 560, a little below what I was hoping for but pretty happy after 2 months shooting.

I wanted to shoot, but with only having 1 hall available for use didn't make it onto the shooting line list

And it figures that Tap would shoot a 570... he is, afterall, a smurf with a magnificant physique

...But there were also quite a few tidy Welsh archers (r/c and compound) who didn't attend.... I mean, Not Dead Yet wasn't there..... or Andy......

Andy did enter but was told on Thursday that there had been a mistake and there wasn't space

I entered in October with recurve one session and compound the other. Was told last Sunday that I could only shoot recurve. Luckily managed to sneak in on the waiting list for compound.

Edit: Yeah.. i was told that there had been a mistake and i was like 8th in the queue to shoot... and the thought that went through my mind was "Well f**k that.. i'm not getting up at 6 on the off-chance i could possible shoot"

i'd stay up all night for that

I did that before the Welsh outdoor... and i managed a 6 gold end... 5 in my target, 1 in someone elses

And anyway... i did that last year indoor and out

And *technically* (and this is very, very technical) Wales is, by definition, a principality
