Didn't realise you two were booked in for this one, guess it means I won't see you at the club Friday night, seeing as you're at Pentref for the weekend.

See you both on Monday.

16d with Bulldog.

I'd certainly be happy to earn those extra 12 points. And I'm feeling more confident in my form with regular 99-102 dozens at 90m and nothing below a 107 dozen in practice at 70m. I'm hoping it will all fall into place. Maybe I'll shoot a FITA to see how it scores.

Best of luck to anyone going today, the weather looks quite unpleasant.

Didn't finish the round either, me. I retired in first place after 90m with severe neck/back pain. Not sure why - may be a pinched nerve.

Weather wasn't too bad, probably would have shot a GMB score.
Really sad I had to retire. Can anyone provide the results please?

I stuck it out to the end, but shot like a prune.

Agred the weather was not too bad. However while it was not particularly wet I think the Meriden field has some wind tricks to play, depending on which target you are shooting on.

I am sorry, Grant, but this time I can't provide rough results. There was a roast duck calling my name, so I left before the results were announced. Hope the neck sorts itself out soon. How was the drive back back?

Can't compalin, shot a PB, 10 short of a bowman score, which would have made it my second of the season.

Also shot a PB for a 70m at Eccles on Sunday in similar conditions.

Roll on Wetherby, should be fun if the weather doesn't change.

I could not hit a cows **** with a banjo at this shoot and the sooner I forget about it the better...

There, just needed to get that off my chest.

Leamington next week...

Was I the only one who had a good day, yesterday?

If you'd been at osterley on the BH things wouldn't have been better... I didn't think a shoot could be worse than oxford this year but I was wrong, GMB scores were well out the window but then they're a bit of fluke for me at the best of times - but at 1189 I didn't even get a MB one and that's quite bad.
