How was that possible?

How on earth did I manage to get sunburn at this weekends event? Blustery winds and those great downpours on the Sunday, but still enjoyed it.

My first FITA, and managed to get my 1000 badge on day 1, and then increase my score on day 2 - just missing out on my 1100. Can't wait until I do my next FITA.

Hope every one that went had a good weekend and the weather did not spoil things to much although i know "Its My Party" shot better on the Sunday than the Saturday. I wish id know so many AIUK archers were going. I was the one in the red coat on the work party digging arrows out of the stands. Think i dug more out this year than the last two years put together lol. Mind you it was windy. For all the people who packed up early and had to walk the "lane of shame" on Sunday please don't let a bit of rain put you off (joke). I must add this tho and this is a comment from me and NOT my club but i feel lillishall are making it harder for Archers the no parking sucks

Don't give a monkeys about the rain - but if you're not shooting well and the weather looks like shite - meaning nothing to be gained - your incentive to carry on is?

My shooting was already in the pan - peeing down as we left and as I understand it stayed that way for a while ....interesting though that many enjoyed an improved score over Saturday...
