I seriously thought about it, but for me it's a four hour drive at least and I dont think I'll be in full outdoor mode by then. So I'm doing a two day York at Morpeth (camping out as well). If the weathers bad it's only an hours drive home.
Have a great time, hope the weathers good and the scores are high.

As a native of Durham, I think I'm safe in saying the weather's always bad in Morpeth. Isn't it?

My two sons will be shooting (double Metric 1's). I chickened out, I'm not quite ready for 2 days of shooting FITA's followed by a 4 - 5 hour drive back to Bournemouth.

You'll enjoy it. It's usually an excellent shoot. Very large field (around 240 archers), weather is usually reasonable, plenty of people to talk to and learn from.

I usually end up asking ppl what target they were on AFTER the shoot when i hear they've been to a shoot i've been to. I shall break with tradition and ask beforehand! I'm on 23!
