Leamington Spa Double York

Is anyone else going this weekend? Since I am relatively new to AIUK I have not put many faces to names yet.

Looks set fair, though the risk of rain on Sunday

Unusual entertainment

For anyone who did not make it to the Double York at Leamington, they managed to provide some unusual entertainment....

The venue had to be moved to the lower field because of 4 visiting French rugby teams. This resulted in 14 barrels of beer being drunk very rapidly, leaving little left on draft for the thirsty archers.

In return however while we were sitting enjoying our BBQ, we were treated to a display of all the rugby players running around the field 'au naturelle'.

Later on after most people had turned in to the tents the singing started up, only to be rivalled by the firework display.

Many thanks to the organiser, who worked hard in the heat, perhaps next year however they can arrange for less wind.
