I shot this too, wasn't overly impressed with my score, I think I still need more practice. Whats the normal waiting time for results (have to be better than Evesham's record), do they post them on the web at all?

Haha, funny guy, maybe after Christmas, if we are lucky..?

Considering they have all the results typed up and entered into a database/spreadsheet on the day, I think its a pretty poor that it takes so long to send them out when most clubs will have them posted before the end of the week (not that I am bitching or anything).

I shot their Stafford on 15th October, and received the results in with the target list for the FITA 18....on that basis, I am expecting to receive the results with my target list for the March 4th shoot....

The funniest thng was that I phoned up to ask about the target list when I had not received it by the Tuesday post. I was told I would receive it the following day "as long as I had put a first class stamp on it". It didn't arrive until the Thursday in an envelope with a 2nd class stamp on.... It was clearly marked to be for my Stafford results.... The stafford results were in it, along with the target list, and the unused envelope with the 1st class stamp on it!! Go fugure that one!!!

Anyway, we are going to far off topic. This thread should be about the Redditch Stafford.

Thanks to one and all concerned for the organization.

Well done Portsmouth495/LB. Hope you get some competition next year (other than beating some of the recurve archers!).

Perhaps next year you can ask about better lighting. Nobody that I spoke to on the the low numbers bosses managed to score well.

I am sure the person concerned would not resort to vendictive tacticts like that....he did seem rather sheepishly amused when he realized what he had done with the 1st/2nd class stamps on the envelope.

If you are trying to put face to avatar, he was the tall thin one shooting recurve in the second session (6C), and I think he placed 2nd.
