Blast! I wanted to say I was a member of the Arrows of Silent Death Society, formed in 1369 by the men annointed by the evil Sir Digby Vayne-Trumpington, known Devil-worshipper and slayer of innocent women and children, (and poodles). The Society that spawned many of the greatest warriors and assassins known or not-known throughout history, but most of their often death defying deeds changing history. And that I carry on as I had sworn to by the ancient oath......which sounds a bit more exciting than "they are both (newly appointed ) committee members of Lichfield Archers" !!!!

Well they are boring at the moment, so we have to try & liven them up a bit, even if its only our end of the table

Did you have to give the game away Harlequin.

Hellequin - you been reading your books again, spouting mind numbing cr*p

It must be living in darkest Stonnall that gives Helle his vivid imagination, there can't be much there to do of an evening, lol, suppose it explains joining Lichfield too

Beware Chase Archer, you are messing with the Greatest Male Archer I know in Stoannall, (home of the deadly, secret, quiet messengers from the Devil), oh and Albert who plays golf

Karl ...you must be right about Stonnall....short of the depraved gatherings there...ask Steve....they isn't much happening....and you're definately right about why he joined Lichfield Archers - the fact he can shoot 24/7 365 gives him the perfect opportunity to leave Stonnall and come to our purpose built exclusive Club House/range whenever the fancy takes him

Tony, suppose thats me put in my place, how did you know I was so envious of your fine shooting facilities (excluding the loos). I've been very tempted to change alliegance for these reasons, but keep it under your hat.

Helle, you must prove that statement at the next county champs, you never know Albert might fancy a change of sports.

Chase - as far as I know, I am the only archer in Stonnall.....
As for Lichfield Archers, in all my many years as an an archer, (1.25 of them), it is the best club with the best members and facilities I know.
Be good to meet up at the Staffs County Champs, and to be honest, it will be my first competition outside the LA ones and I am looking forward to it, whether I win it, (BOL), or not, the experience will be invaluable and I am also looking forward to meeting some archers from other clubs.
And Ronnie, where there's muck there's gold, or something like that...and last night, after changing things on my bow and scoring badly for a while, I got my 3rd best ever score on a Portsmouth, with the last 2 dozen arrows scoring consistently higher than for ages...must be something to do with the tea....
